The Uniform Services Recruitment Board of Tamil Nadu
(TNUSRB) Chennai invites online applications of eligible candidates for Man,
Woman and Transgender for direct recruitment to the position of Deputy
Inspector of Police (SI) in Taluk, Special Reserve and Special Police of Tamil
Nadu - 2019. The SI 2019 online police application register will begin on March
20, 2019 and will close on April 19, 2019.

Age limit: 30 years for BC category, 33 years for SC
/ ST, 35 years for Destitute Widow, 45 years for former military, departmental
candidates.
Salary scale: Rs 36900 - 116600
/ -
Educational qualification: the applicant must have a
bachelor's degree obtained from an institution / university recognized by the
University / Government Grants Commission in a 10 + 2 + 3/4/5 pattern or a 10 +
3 + 2 pattern in the case of Diploma courses. However, candidates who have
obtained a degree in Open Universities without passing through the 10 + 2 + 3
pattern will not be eligible. Candidates must have studied Tamil as a subject
in X / XII / Grade. If not studied, candidates must pass the Tamil Part II Test
conducted by the Public Service Commission of Tamil Nadu within 2 years of
joining the service.
Selection process: written exam, physical
measurement test (PMT) / endurance test (ET), physical efficiency test (PET),
Viva Voce, special marks.
Exam fee: Eligible candidates must pay an
examination fee of ₹ 500 / -. The
departmental candidates who appear both for the exam of open dues and for
examinations of departmental fees will have to pay ₹
1000 / - as exam fee. Payment options are online (Net Banking / Credit / Debit
Card) and Offline (State Bank of India cash challan).

online application will be processed as of March 20, 2019. The last date to
send the application online is 04/19/2019.
