INDIAN
NAVY SAILORS RECRUITMENT |Recruitment of sailors from the Navy of India for apprentice
positions in Matric, Secondary and Artificer to fill a total of 2700 vacancies
in 2019-20. The Indian Navy invites online applications of unmarried male
candidates to register as Sailor for High School Recruitment (SSR) and
Apprentice (AA) in February of 2020 by a lot. The last date for the
presentation of the registration online is July

Age:
Candidates must be born between February 1, 2000, and January 31, 2003 (both
dates inclusive).
Payments and
allowances: during the training period, a stipend of Rs 14,600 / - per month.
Upon successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3
of the Defense Payments Matrix (rS 21,700 - rS 69,100)
Academic
preparation:
Sailors
for Upper Secondary Recruit (SSR) Qualified in the 10 + 2
exam (Matric with 12th class) with Mathematics and Physics and at least one of
these topics: - Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science School Board recognized
by MHRD, Government . from India.
Sailors
for Artificer Apprentice (AA) Qualified in 10 + 2
exams with 60% or more of grades in Mathematics and Physics and at least one of
these topics: - Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science School Councils
recognized by MHRD, Government of India
Selection
process: computer-based exam (100 points), physical fitness
test (PFT) and medical examination.
Computer-based exam:
(a) A common examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.
(b) The paper of the
question will be based on a computer with a total of 100 questions, each with a
mark of 01.
(c) The question paper
will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type (multiple choice).
(d) The question document
will consist of four sections, that is, English, science, mathematics and
general knowledge.
(e) The standard of the
question document will be the 10 + 2 Syllabus and the sample documents for the
exam are available on the Join Indian Navy website.
(f) The duration of the
examination will be one hour.
(g) Candidates are
required to pass all sections and collectively. The Navy reserves the right to
determine the approval marks in each Section and as a whole.
Exam fee: rS 205 / -
paid through the online mode only through net banking or using Visa / Master /
RuPay Credit / Debit Card / UPI. There is no fee for candidates of the SC / ST
