Karnataka Postal Circle Recruitment |Applications for eligible candidates for selection
and participation in Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) positions are invited to fill 2637
vacancies of Branch Post Master, Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak
Sevak under the Karnataka Postal Circle. The GDS recruitment vacancy

qualification: minimum/tenth standard enrollment
approved on the first attempt of the state government. / Central government.
Boards recognized.
Computer skills: the candidate must have computer
skills. The basic knowledge of the computer training certificate for at least
60 days from a recognized computer training Institute. The Central Government
Certificates / State Government / University / Boards, etc., will also be
acceptable for this purpose. The computer knowledge certificate will be easy to
relate if candidates have studied computer science as a subject of 10th or 12th
grade or higher.
Work
residence: The candidate selected for the GDS BPM the position must obligatorily occupy their residence in the village of the branch
post office within one month after the selection, but before committing as
postmaster of the Gramin branch Dak Sevak The candidate must submit a statement
for this purpose in the application. The candidate selected for the position
other than GDS BPM must reside in the post-town / delivery jurisdiction.
Selection
process: The selection will be made according to
the list of merits generated automatically. The selection based on the tenth
standard marks added to the percentage with the precision of 4 decimals will be
the criteria for finalizing the selection. No weight will be given for higher
educational qualification. In case the candidates obtain the same marks, the
order of merit will be taken as DOB (older as merit), ST female, SC female, OBC
female, UR female, ST Male, SC Male, OBC male, UR male.
Application
fee: Rs
100 / - (for UR / OBC Male / EWS Male candidates) pay at any Central Post
Office. The candidate who requires payment must visit any Central Post Office
to make the payment. To make the payment, the candidate must inform the
registration number at the PO counter. There is no fee for all female
candidates and SC / ST. To apply online, the candidate must submit the
application providing the registration number information (and the fee payment
number once, in case it must be paid) to complete the subsequent information.
Once the documents are loaded with a registration number they will remain on
the server, therefore, for the sending of subsequent publications or for other
Circles, candidates do not need to upload more documents.
How
to submit an application: Eligible interested candidates must
submit their application online through the official India Post portal. The end
date for the online submission of the application is 09/22/2019.
