INDIAN COAST GUARD RECRUITMENT|Requests for
Indian male citizens are invited for recruitment to the Navik (Domestic &
Cook & Steward) post in the Indian Coast Guard, a Union Armed Force. The
online registration of the application will be open from June 5, 2019 to June
10, 2019.

Navik (Domestic Branch)

18 to 22 Years as on 01/10/2019
(i.e. born between 01 Oct 1997 to 30 Sep 2001(both dates inclusive). Upper
age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay Rs 21700/-
(Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of
duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.

Educational
qualification: Enrollment with 12th class (10 + 2) approved with 50% aggregate
grades in total and a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and Physics from an
educational board recognized by the Central / State Government. A 5% relaxation
above the minimum limit will be granted for the SC / ST candidates and
outstanding national athletes who have obtained the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in
any field sporting event in the Open National Championship / Interstate
National Championship.
Medical
standards:
(a) The
authorized military doctors will perform the medical examination according to
the medical norm prescribed in the regulations in force applicable to the
personnel registered upon entry.
(b) Height -
Minimum height of 157 cms. The height reduction for candidates from mountainous
and tribal areas will be done in agreement with the central government. Orders
(c) Chest: must
be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
(d) Weight:
proportional to height and age + -10 percentages acceptable.
(e) Hearing -
Normal.
Selection
process: the shortlisted candidates will be called for a written exam and a
physical aptitude test (PFT).
How to submit
the application: Eligible candidates who are interested must submit their
application online through the Join Coast Guard Guardia website starting June
5, 2019. The deadline for submitting applications online is 10 / 06/2019 until
5:00 p.m.
By successfully
submitting the application online, the candidate will be provided with a unique
application / registration number. Candidates must enter this application
number for future reference and to retrieve / reprint the electronic admission
card. Applicants who print the electronic admission card through the official
website from
June 20 to June 26, 2019 will only publish a short list of the
application online.
