Experience
(post-qualification):
Minimum
one year (as on 01.07.19) in the f & b industry (production/service/
operations, etc.) of units with fssai certification.
Teaching
experience and training period (induction) will not be counted as
Experience.

years for UR. Age relaxation in SC / ST-5 years, OBC-3 years, ex-servicemen:
up to the scope of service provided in defense plus 3 years, enabled

Selected
candidates can be published in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra Odisha
and Chhattisgarh.
However,candidates can be transferred/published anywhere in India at the discretion
of the IRCTC.

/ Contract in IRCTC will receive
additional age relaxation for a period for which they have worked in IRCTC.
Medical
aptitude:
The participation of the selected candidates will be
subject to a medical aptitude test as prescribed by the IRCTC.
Selection
process:
Candidates are requested to complete the application
form (attached with this announcement) in all aspects. The complete application the form must be submitted at the place of the interview for verification along
with the original, a set of certified copies of the required documents and
three recent passport-sized photographs.
An interview will be conducted, based on credentials
and performance in the personal interview, the candidates will be selected and
the offer of commitment will be issued to the appropriate candidates in the
order of merit and based on the number of vacancies, subject to verification
background In addition to 85 selected candidates, the names of 85 candidates
will be placed on the reserved list for unforeseen reasons.
Remuneration
and other subsidies:
Consolidated Compensation: Rs.25,000 / - per month.
Daily amount: 350 rupees/day per day of service on
board trains (100% for more than 12 hours, 70% for 6 to 12 hours and 30% and
less than 6 hours)
Accommodation charges: Rs.250 / - per day, if it is
a night's stay during an official tour/trip (or)
Rs.240 / - where the waiting time at a particular
station after arrival and before departure exceeds 6 hours, regardless of the day
or night at the departure station.
National
holiday allocation (CNS): Rs.384 / - by national holiday
Scope
of work:
• Responsible for the supervision/monitoring of
food production, quality and services in designated mobile/static catering
units.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and
standard hospitality procedures/practices.
• Secure men and equipment for nominated mobile /
static catering units.
• Solve problems related to customer/passenger
service and complaint management.
• Collection of comments, analysis and correction of
the course.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, as
appropriate.
• Supervise and educate staff in the efficient
maintenance of equipment and devices.
• Coordination with various departments, offices,
business partners.
• The nature of duty would require movement on
trains up to 22 days per month.
General
information:
1. This commitment is purely contractual in nature
and will not entitle any candidate to claim regular/permanent employment at
the IRCTC.
2. The contract may be terminated by a month's
notice by either party. If the performance during the contract period is not
considered satisfactory, the contact may end with a 15-day notice.
3. The IRCTC
will provide medical insurance to the engaged candidates.
4. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
5. Those who work in government. / The UPM can submit an application through
the appropriate channel or send a NOC at the time of the interview or they must
submit a letter of appropriate relief from the current employer in case of
selection in the IRCTC.
6. IRCTC
reserves the right to cancel/amend the ad and/or the selection process
under it.
7. The number of vacancies to be filled (including
the reserve list) may increase or decrease according to the IRCTC requirement at the time of
hiring.
8. Candidates must ensure that they meet the
eligibility criteria prescribed for the position they have applied for. In case
you are at any stage of the selection process or even after the commitment that
the candidate has provided false or incorrect information or has deleted any relevant
information / material facts or does not fully meet the criteria, your
application/services will be terminated summarily.
9. Selected candidates must provide a security
deposit in the form of DD for Rs. 25,000 / -.
10. Candidates will not be paid TA / DA for
attending the walk in the interview.
11. Computer knowledge (MS Office), report
preparation is desirable.
12. Ability to solve problems and make rational
decisions.
13. Any correction of errors/clarifications to
this announcement, if necessary, will be uploaded to the IRCTC website and no press coverage will be given separately in the
newspaper.
14. The candidate can appear for the interview at
any convenient place only. Attending more than one place will be responsible
for disqualification.
