Maharashtra Postal Circle 2019-20 GDS Recruitment:
The Maharashtra post office has issued a recruitment notification for Gramin
Dak Sevak posts: Branch Postmaster, Branch Branch Postmaster and Dak Sevak to
fill 3650 vacancies in state offices/divisions from Maharashtra Circle
Circle. Eligible interested candidates must submit their application online
only on November 30, 2019, or earlier.

limit: 18 to 40 years from November 1, 2019. The maximum
age can be relaxed in 03 years for OBC candidates, 05 years for SC / ST and
more 10 years for PH category candidates.

Educational
qualification:
(1) Minimum enrollment approval (tenth class) / high
school exam of state boards approved by the respective state government. /
Central government. No weight will be awarded for having a qualification (s)
higher than the compulsory educational qualification. The Candidate who passed
the class X exam on the first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those
approved in a compartmentalized manner.
(2) Mandatory knowledge of the local language
(Maharashtra - Marathi, Goa - Konkani / Marathi). The candidate should have
studied the local language at least up to the tenth standard.
Computer
skills: the candidate must have computer skills and will be
asked to present a basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days
from a recognized computer training Institute. The certificates of the Central
Government / State Government / University / Boards, etc., will also be
acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of the basic computer knowledge a certificate will be relaxing in cases where a candidate has studied computer
science as a subject in Class 10th or Class 12th or higher
educational qualification provided that the candidate presents a class X or class XII certificate or a higher educational
qualification in which he studied computer science as a subject.
Work
residence: The candidate selected for the GDS BPM position
must take his mandatory residence in the village of the branch post office
within one month after the selection, but before committing himself as
Postmaster of the Gramin branch Dak Sevak The candidate must submit a statement
for this purpose in the application. The candidate selected for the position
other than GDS BPM must reside in the post-town / delivery jurisdiction.

Selection
process:
(1) The selection will be made according to the list
of merits automatically generated according to the rules based on the
applications submitted online by the candidates.
(2) Weight for the higher educational qualification will not be given. Only the qualifications obtained in the tenth
standard of approved meetings added in percentage with the precision of 4
decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. The approval of all
subjects according to the respective approved rules of the board are mandatory
to take into account the candidate to calculate the merit.
(3) In case the candidates obtain the same
qualifications, the order of merit will be taken as DOB (age above merit), ST
female, SC female, OBC female, UR female, ST Male, SC Male, OBC male, UR male.
(4) The candidate may opt for five publication
options with preference Circle priority / Applied Circles. In case the candidate is selected in all options, the lower priority preference will be
maintained and all other candidates will be lost. Ex: If a candidate chooses
five publications with preference post1, post2, post3, post4, post5, etc. and
selected as meritorious in more than one publication, the publication will be
offered in the order of preference and the application for all remaining
publications are lost
(5) In case the candidate fully uploads incorrect
information/documents and unnecessary documents, his candidacy will not be
considered. Similarly, in the event that the candidate enters wrongly high or
low marks with reference to the list of loaded brands, then the application
will not be considered.
(6) The candidate will receive an SMS in their
provisional selection on the prescribed date after the selection. The mere fact
of receiving SMS or any other communication about the selection will not
entitle the candidate to request a regular selection/appointment.
The selection/appointment will be based on the
successful completion of the verification and the authenticity of all
educational and other documents produced by the candidates by the competent
authorities.
(7) The candidate can view his or her income
statement on the website by providing the reference number until the results
are announced. Once the results are declared and the publication is completed,
it can be seen in the income statement that provides all the details of the
candidates requested for that publication.
Application fee: For general category and OBC male
candidates, they are required to pay a fee of Rs 100 / -. The candidate who requires payment must
visit any Central Post Office to make the payment. To make the payment, the
candidate must inform the registration number at the PO counter. No charge for
all women and SC / ST candidates.
How to apply: Eligible candidates who wish to apply
online must register at the online application portal (AP Post) on 11/30/2019
or earlier. Only one registration is allowed for one candidate.
